Date: 3/13/2018
Start Time: 7:00 PM

Laura Valdez-Wilson, Assistant City Manager with the City of Elgin, will share results from the recently completed Community Survey and discuss how those findings influenced development of the Strategic Plan. The resident survey was conducted in 2017 for the purpose of better understanding residentsí perceptions and satisfaction with city services, communication and engagement. The survey responses helped to inform the cityís strategic planning process and budget discussions. The Strategic Plan, 2018-2022 Strategic Principles and Priorities, articulates four core values and three strategic goals that provide focus in providing exceptional services, improving Elginís quality of life and enhancing the uniqueness of the Elgin community. Each strategic goal is supported by actionable objectives that support Elginís current and future identity. Sponsored by Elgin Community Network & the City of Elgin.
