1 pm - Welcome, Song, and Earth Day Proclamation.

1:15 pm - Keynote, Lee Sprague.
Lee works extensively on Manoomin (Wild Rice) restoration efforts and holds a degree in International Indigenous Law from San Francisco State University. He has served as Ogema or Leader of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians. Lee is a recipient of the Glenn Miller Tribal Leader Award for Environmental Advocacy and Treaty Rights, and the Bunyan Bryant, Environmental Justice Award by the Sierra Club.

1:45 pm - Dave Spencer RedLine intertribal group drummers and singers.
Through song, RedLine shares a small taste of southern plains culture with Chicago and the Midwest big water area, while providing a circle for intergenerational teaching and learning.

2:00 pm - Gary Swick - Friends of The Fox presentation about the Fox River.
Friends of the Fox River supporter since the 90’s. As an educator at NIU, he has had the motto, “Environmental Action through Education”, and his students have been active agents of change in their communities.

2:30 pm - Dave Spencer RedLine intertribal group drummers and singers.

2:45 pm - Joseph Podlasek - CEO, Trickster Art Gallery, Schaumburg IL.
Founding member and current VP of National Urban Indian Family Coalition. Member of the Chicago Cultural Alliance, current board member. Enrolled member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe Tribe (LCO) and of Polish decent.


OUTDOOR STAGE:
3:30 pm - Yebishawn Oldshield: Fox River Water Blessing featuring Aztec dancers.
