Think an electric car is too expensive and will leave you stranded looking for a place to recharge? Elgin Sustainability Commission Commissioner and Solar Ambassador for the IL Solar Energy Association Paige Fitton will ease your mind and fill you in on all the different types of electric cars available. The number of miles on a charge gets better and better with each new model, and, they are affordable! Paige takes us back to the first electric car and what has transpired along the way. Co-sponsored by Fox Valley Citizens for Peace and Justice, Friends of the Fox River, Schweitzer Environmental Center, Elgin Green Groups 350, Friends of the Fox Valley Sierra Club. Please register.
